Day to day Itinerary
2 Nights Arusha
Arusha in Africa is your gateway to Tanzania’s treasure trove
Arrive Kilimanjaro airport, meet your safari guide and proceed to Arusha. You will have 2 nights in Arusha where by the second day can be for you to relax the whole day, explore the town of Arusha. A trip to the cultural heritage is well recommended and thereafter a visit to the market place where you can get a taste of the African way of shopping. However, if you get a little nostalgic for shopping, the Maasai curios could be the perfect place for you and perhaps a trip to the Mall. For these two nights, you will reside at Haradali’s Home for the best experience with some of the African cultures and people. ( All meals are included)

2 Nights Tarangire
Tarangire is one of the more seasonal parks in northern Tanzania
After your night in Arusha, you will head to Tarangire National Park. If you are a fan of elephants then Tarangire is the place for you. Known as the ‘home of elephants’, Tarangire is famous for holding a large number of elephant herds. It was named after the Tarangire River, which crosses the park. Tarangire is a large park and will need you at least two days to be able to enjoy the complete experience. On the first day, you will have your game drive in the park with packed lunch for you to enjoy later in the day. In the evening, you will reside at Sangaiwe Tented Lodge. The following morning will start early as you prepare for your second day in the park. You will leave with packed lunch for your safari. After the day’s safari, you will go back at Sangaiwe Tented Lodge for your last stay. The journey to the beautiful towns in Tanzania will begin on the third day! ( all meals are included)

1 Night Tabora
The sleepy town of Tabora, in the hinterland of western Tanzania
You will depart to Tabora the following day as you begin your tour through Tanzania’s famous cities and parks. Driving from Sangaiwe to Tabora will take up to 7hrs. There will be landscapes on the way and kopjes that are believed to have different origins according to different beliefs. You will have local lunch along the road to Tabora to enjoy the African delicacy. You will spend the night at Tabora Belmonte Hotel. ( bed and breakfast)

2 Nights Kigoma
Beautifully situated on the shores of Lake Tanganyika.
After a night in Tabora you will depart to Kigoma and enjoy a road trip as you observe and take pictures along the way. Kigoma is a city by the Lake Tanganyika which is considered the longest lake in Africa and second longest in the world. You will relax on your arrival and prepare for the following day’s adventure. The following day could be started with canoeing by the lake and later a visit to Livingstone museum in Ujiji village, the oldest market in Tanzania. In the evening, you could watch the beautiful sunset by the lake that we are sure will be forever engraved in your heart. A new adventure awaits you the following morning as you depart to Gombe. During these two nights in Kigoma, you will reside at Kigoma Hilltop Hotel. The view of the lake and sunset from this hotel is amazing beautiful (bed and breakfast)

2 Nights Gombe
Situated on the wild shores of Lake Tanganyika, Gombe Stream is an untamed place of lush forests and clear lake views. Hiking and swimming are also popular activities here, once the day’s expedition to see the chimpanzees is over.
Another exciting day, are you ready for the trek?? Your safari guide will be here to make sure all is well with your chimp experience. Depart the hotel at 0730hrs, from Kigoma Hilltop Hotel you will be transferred to the area where the boat trip starts. It will take you only 5 minutes to be there. A boat trip will take 2 hrs. depending on the weather it can be 2hrs and 30 min. The boat trip is another amazing experience, as the boat will be sailing only 50 meters from the beach. The mountains surrounding the lake makes it even more beautiful. I can assure you there will be no time to blink your eyes but making them bigger to see more. On this day, you will visit Gombe National Park for chimpanzee trekking. It is the smallest national park in Tanzania and is famous for availability of species closest to man genetically speaking, chimpanzees. The park, being an open place, does not guarantee the actual location of the chimps hence a two-day trek is recommended to be able to find different clusters. When you think about Gombe you must think about Jane Goodall, we can say the park is most famous for Jane Goodall who spent many years in this forest studying the behavior of the endangered chimpanzees. Gombe is the home to Jane, she loved this park and she did an amazing job in making sure the chimpanzees are in a friendly environment for their survival. She initiated many environment projects by involving the locals living close to the park. At the TANAPA headquarters you will get a chance to get more
information about Jane and her amazing work.
You will trek and hike with an experienced ranger who will be able to guide you on different species of birds, plants and of course the chimps. This is usually a very long and slightly difficult but a little challenge is worth something, No? On these two days, you could also swim and snorkel at Lake Tanganyika so don’t forget your bathing suits! You will reside at Tanapa Bandas. ( all meals are included)

3 Nights Katavi
It is a very remote park that is less frequently visited in Tanzania
You will leave Gombe toward Katavi on this day. Katavi is the third largest national park in Tanzania. It is located on the western side of Tanzania as you head southwards. Katavi is an exceptionally beautiful park due to its diversity of the people who settle around it and the scarce population in the park hence less interference with the natural appearance of the area. In the park, you will have a game drive where you will observe bird species and animal species. The park is known for its large number of buffaloes who move in a herd. Not forgetting, you could visit the historic sites where slaves were believed to pass through during the early centuries and the great Tamarind Tree where the locals used to offer sacrifices. They believed in a man who had good hunting skills and turned into the tree upon his death hence asking for blessings before hunting begins. In these three nights, you will reside at Katavi Bandas for the best experience. ( all meals are included)

2 Nights Mbeya
the main transit point for connections to Malawi and Zambia, and the southern access point to Lake Tanganyika.
After the three nights, you will depart to Mbeya and have local lunch on the way. Mbeya is located at the southwestern part of Tanzania and is famous for the national park found within. It is also holding the existence of Lake Ngozi which is the second largest Crater Lake in Tanzania. On the first day, after arrival, you will rest and refresh while preparing for the following day’s trip. Day two will be your day to visit Kitulo National Park. Now this national park is very special, reason why is because it harbors millions of wild flower species in the world. It is nicknamed ‘Serengeti of Flowers’ or ‘God’s Garden’ for its wide variety of flowers. It located along the rugged slopes of Kipengere, Poroto and Livingstone mountains Of course due to wide varieties of flowers, you will observe the wide varieties of bird and butterfly species. You will have a day trip and drive back to the hotel you will be staying. This will be your last day in Mbeya so take a lot of pictures as possible from this beautiful city. During this time, you will reside at Utengule Coffee Lodge. (bed and breakfast)

3 Nights Ruaha
the largest protected area in Tanzania, as well as in East Africa.
Ruaha is a district found in Iringa region found in the southwestern part of Tanzania. This is also the region where you will find the Ruaha National Park. The national park is famous for the different species in large numbers and the prides of lion found in the area. It is said that there are three dominant prides that are found by The Glade, which is an oasis found in the park. It is believed that a tenth of the world’s lion population is found in Ruaha National Park. You will visit the park for two complete days and on the last day you will visit Isimila Stone age site still based in Iringa where historical artifacts of the early man were found. During this period, you will reside in Tanapa Bandas. ( all meals are included)

1 Night in Iringa
Iringa is a town in the Southern Highlands, Tanzania.
After breakfast you will depart Ruaha to Iringa town, a visit to Isimila Stone age site. Late afternoon drive to sunset Hotel for dinner and overnight. Sunset hotel has the best view of Iringa town and sunset from here is extremely beautiful. ( bed and breakfast)

2 Nights Udzungwa
Udzungwa alone among the ancient ranges of the Eastern Arc
After Ruaha, you will leave for Udzungwa. It is still in the Iringa region and is famous for Udzungwa Mountain National Park which has a diversity of both for and fauna. You will visit the Park where you will have a game drive. In those two days, you will also have full day activities where you will go for trekking or a hike in the breathtaking landscape that you will witness before you. Are you interested in a romantic photograph that will forever remind you of Africa? Well, the Udzungwa waterfalls will purposely serve you for its splendor and beauty so don’t forget to carry your bathing suite! Another beautiful adventure awaits you with Mother Nature supporting from a distance. During your stay at Udzungwa, you will reside at Mbuyuni Crocodile Camp, which is closer to the park. On the last day, you will leave for Mikumi after full day activities, which is a short drive from Udzungwa. (all meals are included)

2 Nights Mikumi
Mikumi is the fourth largest national park in Tanzania
On the first day of arrival, you have an option of doing half day game drive in the park or refresh and await the following day for full day game drive. Our guides are flexible, talk to them. Mikumi National park is located between Uluguru Mountains and Lumango Ranges. It happens to be the fourth largest national park in Tanzania and is praised for its unique sunset. It is found close to Morogoro and has a lot of wildlife species. While at Mikumi, you will reside at Camp Bastian Mikumi for the best experience at an affordable price. (all meals are included)

3 Nights Nyerere National Park
Previously Known as Selous Game Reserve
You will leave for Nyerere National Park with packed lunch and head for the last wildlife destination. It has been a long journey but worry not, the salty breeze will welcome you from the shores of Indian Ocean soon. Selous Game Reserve is the largest game reserve in Africa. It has about 450 species of birds and a variety of animals including the big five and the big cats of Africa. In those three days, you will have a game drive safari and boat safari at River Rufiji, which has our canine friends, the crocodiles. However, the sunset observed from this boat ride is fantastic and you wouldn’t want to miss out. There is also the availability of hot air balloon safaris for those who have nostalgia for the air. By this time, if you have been keen or you have been following up on the Tanzanian map, you will realize that you will have gone round Tanzania through the southern circuit. While here, you will reside in Selous River Camp. This will mark the end of your safari in relation to your visit to wildlife. ( all meals are included)

4 Nights Dar-Es-Salaam
Dar es Salaam is the largest city and former capital of Tanzania
Dar-es-salaam is one of the most industrialized cities in Tanzania. We purposefully made the trip to end at Dar-es-salaam firstly because it is where you would depart from while touring back home and secondly because you would see the diversity in cultures from the western side of Tanzania and the eastern. You will realize that there will be a different atmosphere while comparing the two regions. You will reside at Peponi Beach Resort.
Upepo garden is a small hotel located in the form of a five-bedroom living house. This small hotel on the shores of the Indian Ocean is a great place to relax in Dar es Salaam. The small size of the hotel makes you feel at home all the time. the waiters are nice and experienced. (bed and breakfast)
